About Us

 Larry Poole originally was born and raised in Mecklenburg County, more specifically the "Queen City of Charlotte, North Carolina." After graduating from East Carolina University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration  the beach calling became strong. In May of 1983, the beach calling became strong enough to move from the Queen City to the so called "Low Country!".

In the past 36 years of living along the Grand Strand many changes have occurred in the transition of a sleepy little tourist town into what is described as a resort destination. No longer do the majority of restaurants close up the day after Labor Day. Championship golf courses abound within a short drive from just about every location along the Grand Strand. From the arrivals of numerous hurricanes through the years to transition of hundreds of thousands of tourists arriving weekly during the summer, Larry has been a part of the growth that makes the Grand Strand what it is today.

Larry is a licensed Home Inspector since 2003, a licensed Residential Builder and a licensed Real Estate Broker Associate in the State of South Carolina. He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of North Carolina.  Additionally he is a member of The National Association of Realtors, The Grand Strand Association of Realtors and has sat on the Board of Directors of private companies along with being involved in several other local organizations.

Larry taught Home Inspection courses  throughout the state of South Carolina for many years through the Fortune Academy School of Real Estate, Horry-Georgetown Technical College, Greenville Technical College among others.  As a college level instructor for those years, his extensive background provided opportunities for students to draw on past career experiences.

Added experiences have included being licensed as a Property Manager In Charge (PMIC), which is the equivalent of a Real Estate Broker's License in Property Management. He was responsible for multi-millions of dollars worth of vacation rentals and annual rentals including associated maintenance concerns and projects. 

During periods of natural disasters such a hurricanes, flooding, etc... Larry has served as a disaster inspector working as a contractor for FEMA  through Homeland Security. Some disaster zone deployments include  Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina and The Virgin Islands.
